Privacy Policy

At Fama (“Fama”, “us”, “we”, or “our”), operated by Sergey Sobolevski, protecting your privacy and maintaining data transparency is our core priority. We aim to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable privacy standards.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, secure, and retain your information when you use our iOS application (“FAMA” or the “Services”).

1. Definitions

• “Input Content” — the photos you submit to the App for AI generation.
• “Output Content” (or “Generated Content”) — the final AI renderings returned to you.
• “Metadata” — technical characteristics (such as image dimensions, file format, device model, OS version, and request timestamps) generated during processing.
• “Presets” — the predefined artistic style instructions maintained on our servers that steer the generative AI models. You do not submit free-form prompts; you select a preset and may optionally add a short refinement note.

2. Information We Collect and Process

2.2 Processing of Uploaded Photos

• Photo selection: Photos are selected through the iOS system photo picker. The App receives only the specific items you choose and never scans your photo library.
• The AI pipeline: When you start a generation, your selected photo is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS to our server-side proxy hosted on Vercel (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), which forwards it to OpenRouter, Inc. (openrouter.ai/privacy) for processing by third-party foundation models, including Google Gemini image models. This processing is transient: our proxy is stateless and does not write your photos to any database or storage.
• Storage: Your uploaded photos and Generated Content are stored locally on your device only. We operate no cloud gallery, no server-side user database, and no backups of your content. Deleting an item in the App, or deleting the App itself, removes this local content.
• Refinement notes: If you use the “Improve” feature, the short text you type is transmitted with the request to steer the model and is processed transiently in the same way as photos.

2.3 Technical Data

Our infrastructure providers (Vercel, OpenRouter) may temporarily log standard technical Metadata (such as IP address, request timestamps, and response codes) for security, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

3. Apple App Store Privacy Disclosures (Guidelines 5.1.1 & 5.1.2)

• Face Data: FAMA does not collect, use, store, or transmit Face Data as defined by Apple. No facial landmarks, geometry, or biometric identifiers are extracted at any stage.
• Data recipients: Photo processing occurs via Vercel (hosting) and OpenRouter (model routing) with underlying model providers including Google. No user content is retained by us after the generation completes.
• No third-party AI training: Your photos are never used to train our models or provided to third parties for model training by us.
• Photo library access: Adding photos uses the system picker (no library permission required). Saving results uses add-only photo library access, which you can grant or deny in iOS Settings.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Deletion: Because your content is stored on your device and no accounts exist, you are in direct control: delete items in the App or delete the App to remove all local data. There is nothing for us to delete server-side.
• Access and portability: Your photos and results are already in your possession on the device and can be saved to your photo library or shared at any time.

6. Security Safeguards

All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). API credentials for model providers are stored exclusively in server-side environment configuration and are never embedded in the App. Access to our infrastructure is limited to authorized personnel.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Generative features require the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.

8. Global Compliance

California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or “share” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information. California residents may direct requests to neuratradingai@gmail.com.

UK & EU (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing is the performance of our contract with you (providing the generation you request) or your explicit consent. Data is processed on servers located in the United States; by using the Services you consent to this cross-border transfer. 9. Privacy Policy Updates

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy. Material updates will be communicated through prominent notifications within the App prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the App following such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
